Database for MATROSHKA scientific data

One of the main objectives of the HAMLET project is the creation of a data archive consisting of the data measured by the active and passive radiation detectors applied within the MATROSHKA project. This database allows easy access to the data gathered within the different phases of the MATROSHKA experiment.

The database is hosting an Active Data Archive for radiation data gathered with the active radiation detectors – namely the Dosimetry Telescope (DOSTEL). Within this archive the user will be able to display and download count rate (number of particles per second) and dose rate (absorbed dose and dose equivalent per day) profiles as well as two dimensional plots of the count rate and dose rate distribution in dependence of the International Space Stations orbit.

The database is further hosting a Passive Data Archive for radiation data gathered with passive radiation detectors – namely the thermoluminescence detectors (TLDs) inside the 33 slices of the phantom for the determination and measurement of the depth dose distribution within the simulated human upper torso. The data will be given for each of the over 1600 measurement points within the 33 slices of the phantom as daily absorbed dose in water in mGy/d measured by the TLDs. Beside the possibility to download the data in ASCII format three dimensional plots of the dose distributions within the slices of the phantom will be provided in the near future.

All the data for the next MATROSHKA experiment phases (MTR 2A, MTR 2B) will be available after publication.
